No More Champagne tours Sweden

Autor David Lough is touring Sweden to introduce his book No More Champagne: Churchill and His Money to Swedish readers in a tour organised by the leading Swedish bank Handelsbanken.  After speaking in Stockholm, Sparreholm and Linköping, Lough declared himself astonished by the level of interest in the subject shown by those attending: “The second world war may have divided Swedish society at it start, but by 1942 there was very wide support for Churchill’s stand against Hitler. Today’s Swedes seem just as intrigued as their British and American counterparts by the story of Churchill’s personal struggles leading up to the war .”
